Astra Line yarns are composed with a polyver core and a high grade polyester cover. This composite yarn has been proven to give excellent performance in resisting abrasion, on both the inside and the outside of Astra Line. Its low friction leads to a decreased heat development inside the rope, giving a higher safety factor and a longer rope lefetime. Astra Line is available in 3 and 4 strand construction as weel as in 8 strand plaited construction for mooring lines.
