The main safety shoe production unit of S.24 is still located in Dordogne. It employs roughly forty people who have all of the recognized skills in the sector. The protective shoe production process is fully automated when it comes to injection moulding of the work soles. The stitching, gluing, placement of the safety toe cap and all finishing however, is carried out by hand.
The material used in the manufacture of S.24 safety shoes are top quality :
● Polytex and Poromax liners: thanks to Thermy-Tex® treatment, safety shoes avoid bacterial development and odors and absorb transpiration as soon as it starts. The treatment is active for the life of the safety shoe. They also offer excellent abrasion resistance.
● Hydropelle leather: S.24 selects the best leathers on the leather market for its safety shoes. Hydropelle leather is known for its resistance to penetration and water absorption at a thickness of 180 mm. The fibrous structure of Hydropelle leather provides exceptional suppleness and comfort to your S.24 safety shoes.
● Verpelle leather: this unique leather makes direct injection on the upper shoe without carding or gluing. This technical leather also provides excellent waterproofing to your safety shoe.
● Texliglt: Texlight is a light synthetic material, that's washable and earth friendly (PVC free) improving the the comfort of your safety shoes during use.
The tips and insoles of S.24 safety shoes are made of STC composite, an innovative antimagnetic material that is light and conducts neither heat nor cold.
