Our tools Partner STANLEY,  began its activity in the United States over 160 years, in 1843 in the state of Connecticut. The STANLEY company is recognized worldwide for its reliability when it comes to quality and added value that the products bring.

► Today, 160 years after its creation, STANLEY is a world company and a world leader when it comes to tools and hardware. The company has always kept the name Stanley, and the spirit and passion of its creator are still present.

The essence of this passion was described in an edition of Asher & Adam's Pictorial Album of American Industry :

Some history …

In 1970, Stanley Works bought the MABO company which had become the European leader in measuring tools while seeking to set itself up on the French market in the tape measures sector, this became the Stanley MABO company.
In 1973, the group became partners with the Antichoc company, manufacturers of levels in Saint Louis, in the Haut Rhin.
In 1977, a hand saw manufacturing company is created in Châtellerault, in the Vienne.
In 1979, the Saint Louis factory is closed, followed by the factory in Châtellerault, in 1983. The production that was carried out at these two sites is transferred to Besançon.
In 1986, the group buys SICFO (Société Industrielle et Commerciale Française d'Outillage), including the Peugeot unit of Valentigney and the Goldenberg factory in Saverne, and changes its name to SICFO-Stanley.
In 1993, Stanley is the first hand tool company to be ISO 9001 certified.
In 1997, the Saverne factory is closed. Besançon which is placed among the top European manufacturers of linear measuring tools takes the name: Stanley Tools France.
